Your Brake Shoes/pads Are Probably Worn Down To The Backing. You Are Getting Metal To Metal Contact "not Good". Most Likely Gone Too Far And Will Need To Replace Pads/shoes Rotors /drums. Brakes Should Be Check About Every 6 Months For Wear
