Default I have a 1993 buick New Yorker 5th Ave. The battery went dead?

and the car sat for a couple of months. recently a replaced the battery. Everything works except the radio, which it worked before. Its the factory stereo, so im wondering if their is some kind of code you have to set to get it to turn on. my owners manual does not mention anything

Is there any power getting to the stereo unit. If not check the fuse panel.

You shouldn't need a code, there's a problem with power getting to the stereo.
