If i use a battery with 875 cold cranking amps and 1000 amps total for a 4000 watt system with 1/0 AWG wire with a 3.0
capacitor do i need to upgrade alternators if so im trying to go cheap what amp alternator should i get? and its the right cap its for systems between 3000-5000 watts. I have every thing allready exept for the alternator I wanted to know if i had to upgrade? if not then im good. |

I'd suggest upgrading anyway, be a good idea because that system is going to work that charging system. The 875CCA for the battery doesn't have anything to do with the charging system, that's the starting system. A stock alternator would get overworked with such a system.
