I have bought my first car and now in the process of gathering information and car audio products for my car.

At the moment i have a 15 Inch 1000W US Audio Subwoofer which I recently purchased, with a box all ready.

Now i am looking at a Head Unit and was thinking up to 500 would need to be spent on this.
What ones would be recommended?

Also a amplifier, I was thinking of using a Mono Amp to power my sub, and a Four Channel Amplifier for the Speakers
Again What amps would be recommended, the peak power i should look at and is there a better way of setting it up?

And whatever else i have forgotten that would complete the setup.

Budget is around $1000.

First you need to fix up your power source by adding Capasitor banks to ensure stable power supply without killing your car's battery.

For head unit, from experience Pioneer with special sub-woofer output is great.

For power amp, it depends on the type of music you are listening to i.e sound quality or Just loud and bassy. If you can't decide, try Rockford fosgate for your sub and Dyne Audio for the component system with the same brand.
