Cost to replace Ball Joints: 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD?

How much should I expect to pay a mechanic to do this. 2 wheels need to be done.

I'm being quoted $900 for 2 wheels. That would be high by 2x huh?

about 3-400 for all the ball joints and the alignment,that should about cover it,the ball joints aren't that expensive to do,and the labor isn't that bad either,any shop should do them for that though,good luck with it.
