Eagle Talon idle surge?

That is most definetly idle surge. I wonder if that vehicle has a TPR...? Bad gas mileage... Why don't you go to your local NAPA or any parts store and ask for a can of SEAFOAM. Read the instructions, you can put about 4-5 oz in the crankcase and some in the gastank.

But I suspect its electrical or a vaccum leak....

I have a 1995 eagle talon, and I just recently got a rebuilt motor with 60k on it, and a new waterpump. The engine runs fine for about 8 min, then the idle starts to surge between 800 to 1800 rpms. Also, on hot days I notice it happens faster, and I get bad gas milege. Help!
