Default Replaced output speed sensor on 1997 Dodge ram 4x4, but check engine light still on

...is the front sensor.? Check engine light still on, no problem with ABS light or speedometer. The code is for output speed sensor. Ram 1500, 5.2. Someone mentioned that my oversized tire might be the poblem. I have 285's instead of 225's.

Try disconnecting the negative (black) battery cable to reset the yellow check engine light and see if the light comes back on again. It may take a number of "drive cycles" to totally clear the code from the computer memory. If the light comes back on, read out the OBD-II error codes again to confirm it's the VSS sensor code.
