how much fuel can a 1988 Ford Ranger hold?

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger and it's a V-6. I'm just wondering how many gallons of fuel can it hold and not run over?

12 gallons i ahve the same truck

I believe it is 18 gallons, that is what my '03 holds

owners manuel about 20 gals is it but fill it up and find out you can do it they stop when full
