Need help please

Within the last couple of weeks, my 2002 Ford Taurus SE wagon has started acting up. When I'm stopped, the speedometer needle jumps up and down, between 5 and 10 MPH. Also, the headlights will fluctuate, and the theft light comes on. While I'm driving, if I'm just coasting or decelerating, it acts like it's going to stall; the CD player stops, the theft light comes on, and the engine begins to stall, but then everything comes back on within a second or two, and it seems fine. This only happens rarely (once or twice a day). This has never happened while I'm accelerating or cruising. Can anyone help?

Check the computer for codes, that would be the first thing to do.
