1997 Jeep Wrangler Starts but when driving it will act as though it is about...

...to shut off.? I had the water pump replaced recently and now it will start for the most part, but then once I get driving, it acts as though it is not getting enough gas and going to shut off. Mechanic said fuel pump was not the problem, that it was definitely getting enough gas. Mechanic has no clue what problem is.
