What is the difference between a jeep yj, tj, and a wrangler?

YJ, TJ, and JK are all different models of the wrangler. the YJ was from 87-96 (they are the ones with the square headlights). the TJ was from 97-06, and the JK is the new one for 2007 that is offered in the four door. the JK also has a 3.8 liter v6 instead of the awesome 4.0 liter inline 6 used in the previous jeeps.

p.s. before the wrangler was the CJ. it came in different models too, but they were just numbered. the most popular was the CJ-7
