I do'nt think so...This is a machine with which u cant compare Ferrari's. They were regular winners of Le Mans and the car is known for its unique handling and driveability with unmatched technology. Bill Gates have a Maserati Quatrraporte 2005 all wheel drive luxury sedan and he still loves it to drive.

I don't think you can really compare Maserati to Ferrari, who own them, as they compete in different markert sectors. A Ferrari is an out-and-out sports car, whereas Maserati make sports GTs. It's like the difference between say, a Porsche 911 GT3 and a BMW M5 or M6.
Maserati have made huge advances since the horror stories of the 80's. Remember the Biturbo and the Shamal? The modern Maseratis are very good, beautiful cars. I saw a new Quattroporte recently and thought, 'Why would anyone who cares about what they drive choose a big Mercedes or worse, a 7-series BMW over this?' Likewise, the GT4200 is a much more special car than any Porsche or Jaguar, just a pity they changed the wonderful LED rear lights for ones that looked like they came off a Vauxhall Astra! Unlike Ferrari & Porsche though, they still suffer terrible depreciation, with a tidy early 3200 (with the nice lights!) now available to mere mortals like me at a very attractive price! |
