Default Why is my Mitsubishi 65" 1080p DLP flickering?

It does it through the DirecTV, PS2, PS3/BluRay, X360, DVD player, and my VHS. So it's not the way it is hooked up. Best Buy (TV salesperson) says it's either the motherboard or the projector bulb. But I could tell the guy had about as much of a clue as I did... I have the 4 year extended service plan so whatever it is its covered under warranty, but before i schedule them to come to my house i want to know what's wrong with it and how long i'll be without my TV. Its baseball's post-season, and the heart of college football and the NFL, so there's NO WAY i can go without for more than a couple of days... And before anybody bashes DLP or rear projectors let me just say that in 1080p format, there is nothing better for the price, and 50" 1080p plasma looks tiny in comparison for 3x the price. Considering there is no burn-in problems or glare off of windows like with plasmas...

Bulb is a possibility, but probably rare if it isn't at least a year or two old.
