Question Gas Prices. How High Will They Go?

Any predictions on how high you expect gas prices to go this summer. It's already over $4.00 where I live and we are not even into the peak summer driving season yet.

It's crazy but I would not be surprised to see prices go well over $5.00 before the end of ths summer.

How high do you think gas prices will go in 2008?

Same here. I think the national average is already over $4.00. I am figuring it will go over $6.00 before the end of the year and if it says below $7.00 we will all be very lucky!

I am guessing prices will not hit the $6.00 range this year. $4.00-$5.00 range is one thing but if it did hit the $6.00 mark I think this country would go berserk. I know I would. Just my two cents.

I'm right around the 5-6$ mark myself. Experts say we will see prices hit 8$ a Gallon come next Summer, and somehow I can see that happen at our current climb.

Urban, the way prices have been rising with no letup in sight, I think gas prices are gonna climb well past the $7.00 range before the year is over. Hope I am wrong but thats how I am seeing it right now!

How about when the gas company executives said they're not the ones who determine the prices? Who does if they don't??? And they're getting record profits, they don't WANT the prices to come down.

I agree totally with EagleAutosports, they don't want the price to come down and I also agree that we will see it going to $6.00 or $7.00 by the end of the year .
